One of the things that really excited me every week is the new free after rebate items that Rite Aid advertises. I’ve gathered quite a bit of free personal care products over the past few weeks this way. I love Rite Aid’s Single Check Rebate program. Essentially, every time you buy something that has a rebate attached to it, you log into your account online with them, enter a few pieces of information from the receipt, and you’re done! You will receive an email when they’ve approved your receipt and you can log in to see how much money you’ve got coming back to you in rebates!
For the month of June I will be getting back $14.98, and that was only for two shopping trips. So far this month I’ve got $18.98 racked up…and it’s only the 3rd! This is what I got this past weekend while out doing my drugstore deals:
- Secret and Old Spice deodorant - on sale 2/$5 with a $2 rebate = $3 for 2 deodorants!
- Giovanni Tea Tree Oil conditioner - on sale for $6.99, FREE after rebate!
- 2 Ponds Cleansing Towelette travel pk (15ct) - on sale for $2.23 each with a $2 rebate for each one (limit of 2) = $.46 for 30 facial cloths!
- Oxy Face Wash for Men - on sale for $5.99, FREE after rebate!
My total out of pocket (before taxes) was $22.44 and I will be getting $18.98 of it back in rebate at the end of the month, so I got all of this for only $3.46!
If you haven’t taken advantage of the wonderful saving opportunities at Walgreens, Rite Aid, and other drugstores (like CVS, although we don’t have one around me I hear they have a wonderful program), you really should look into it! It’s a very nice way to stock up on personal care products (amongst other things).
