One concern of many people living frugally is still being able to eat healthy.
I try to buy healthy food while still staying in a budget. Sometimes this means frozen fruits and veggies rather than fresh, depending on the cost. I like to cook, so I’m able to control the ingredients that go into my dishes and I try not to add anything that will hike up the fat content and stuff like that. I hardly ever fry our food, as I’m a huge fan of baked meat or cooking stuff in the crockpot. (Crockpot meals are so delicious and easy! If you don’t have a crockpot, you need to invest in one. Seriously.)
There are a few blogs I’ve ran across that teaches the frugal life and good food. 1) Take a look at Heavenly Homemakers and 2) My Resting Place (which has lots of health and fitness tips, including how to keep your FAMILY health - visit now).
