		<description>I agree that a lot of people don't seem to know the difference! I know I have made some bad choices in the past too, but in every situation, I know if I would actually take the time to think and evaluate the situation that I have always been pretty fortunate and quite well off.</description>

		<description>Excellent post and I couldn't agree with you more!  I was much like you, although an only child, we were "poor", but I still feel like I got what I wanted / needed as a kid.  It wasn't until my teen years that I realized we were indeed below most of my friends when it came to financial status.

Now, I have really learned the value of money and how to distinguish between a need and a want.  It can be very hard at times to tell yourself that ancient word, "NO", but it is a necessary part of growing up and becoming an adult.  I'm in my mid 20s and have a lot of younger friends who just don't "get it" yet... hopefully they will catch on before they dig themselves a giant financial grave.</description>
