As we were sitting around the apartment this afternoon, not doing much of anything on my husband’s day off…I suddenly remembered we had a $50 gift card to “On the Border“, a great Mexican restaurant.  So we got showered and dressed up and headed on our way.

We both got drinks (margarita for me, Bud Light for him), entrees and shared dessert.  The bill came to just under $36!  After tip, we still have $8 left on the gift card which is enough for a light lunch for Dave while he’s out working during the week (can be used to Chili’s, also, which is closer to home).
