I didn’t get around to a roundup last week, believe it or not.  Friday came and went and it hit me on Sunday evening that I had not put one up!  I don’t know how it slipped my mind, but it did.  Not that there weren’t a ton of great reads last week, because there were.  I had a list of about 20 links I wanted to share!

I’m getting busier with school starting, so my roundups probably won’t be as long and may not be EVER week, but I’m still trying to at least get to all the sites and comment and email and reply and do all the things a good blogger does.  Forgive me if I fall behind!

Ashley at Wide Open Wallet says it all when expressing her thoughts of the economy.  I share in some of this fear because of my current job situation and the fear of not being able to make ends meet.

In light of the economy, Nicole at The Budgeting Babe reminds us that it is the time to remember the things in life we don’t have to pay for but bring happiness and fulfillment.  I couldn’t agree more.

Mindi at Moms Need to Know wrote a great post on why she buys things that she doesn’t need.  This is a prime example of how to maximize shopping in order to give back to your friends/family/community.  I love her site!

Gather Little by Little shares an interesting gadget to use in the shower called The Shower Manager.  Great for those who are looking to conserve water and need that extra little push.

Mrs. Micah tells us how to keep warm without turning up the thermostat!  Great tip and one I will have to try seeing as it’s already in the 50’s here this week and I’m constantly freezing anyway!
