I got shrimp on sale a while back at the grocery store in hopes that I could come up with a tasty, frugal recipe.  Of course, using the crockpot was just a bonus (I love my crockpot).

All I did was throw in the shrimp with a stick of butter, 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce, some hot sauce, lemon juice and red pepper flakes…turned out quite yummy!  Served it with some brown rice and everyone was happy.

You could really season/flavor it to your own tastes.  The Worcestershire sauce really gave it a nice kick, and we love spicy food, so the hot sauce and pepper flakes were perfect.

I still have a few pounds of shrimp in the freezer so I’m going to be making shrimp and angel hair pasta tomorrow for dinner.  Can’t wait!  Incorporating seafood into the weekly dinner menu hasn’t been nearly as expensive or as hard as I thought it would be.  And it’s usually much healthier than what we would’ve been eating!
