Well, another month in the past. Let’s see how I did on my financial goals!
Don’t charge anything on credit cards that I can’t pay for with cash. Keep within the $700 spending budget while on vacation. This would’ve worked out well had we not had to rearrange our vacation. We ended up having to [...]

At the beginning of the month I set some goals for myself and I wanted to see how I was doing.
Put at least $600 into vacation fund. So far I’ve been able to put in $351.51, which doesn’t even include $400 in scheduled deposits! So $251.51 of that was all in unplanned snowflakes! Doing well. [...]

So one of my August goals was to spend $80 or less at Sam’s Club. We don’t go to Sam’s Club all too often. In fact, I don’t think we’ve been there for about 2-3 months. Granted, I’m cooking at home a lot more now, so I go through more meat and stuff (which is [...]

After a month of having this blog (my gosh it’s really gone by quickly), here I am in a reflective mood. I’d like to start setting some goals, so let’s see how this is going to work.
Put at least $600 into our vacation fund so that we have cash to spend while in Myrtle [...]
